Our company has invested into the training of its Quality Control staff to perform Dye Penetrant Inspection Tests. Commonly used as a primary method to inspect welds, this type of test can allow the visual detection of any surface porosity and/or cracks with the use of a developer. This process follows EN ISO 3452-1.
Axon performs a variety of non destructive tests. The purpose of these tests is to simulate everyday use of the tool and thus eliminate the possibilities of failure prior to the release of the tool.
Moreover, we have the capability to perform Non Destructive Tests on the produced components to identify possible discontinuities and cavities on the surface and shallow subsurface ,that may lead to large cracks and hence failure of the tool.
